Jamie Berard, senior designer from Denmark, describes what it was like leaving his friends and family to expand the LEGO empire around the world. His first person account discusses what kinds of projects the Lego team have down and are planning to do and what it's like being in the Lego world. LEGO is a line of construction toys manufactured by The Lego Group starting in 1949 by a privately held company in Billund, Denmark. The Lego bricks can be constructed into objects such as vehicles, buildings, and even working robots and as of 2013, around 560 billion parts have been made.
