Jamie Berard, Lego designer, discusses their new project of a Lego opera house that was picked by their fan base as their next big monument design. His first person account describes why and how the Lego team were able to build such an extensive and detailed model of the opera house made completely of Lego bricks. LEGO is a line of construction toys manufactured by The Lego Group starting in 1949 by a privately held company in Billund, Denmark. The Lego bricks can be constructed into objects such as vehicles, buildings, and even working robots and as of 2013, around 560 billion parts have been made.
