Two members of the American rock band Vampire Weekend appreciate the diverse audience at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, held on August 25, 2013 in Brooklyn, New York, their home state. They explain that since they attended the rehearsal, they know some secrets about the event they can’t reveal and share their excitement about seeing certain performers. The first VMAs were held in 1984 in New York City and the 2014 VMA's will be on August 24th.
