Douglas Wilder on Mandela: “The man stood for so much”


Douglas Wilder, the former Governor of Virginia, was interviewed about Nelson Mandela after the news of his death on December 5, 2013. His interview begins around the 2:00 minute mark. Wilder was Governor of Virginia in 1990 when he ordered the state to ban all trading with South Africa under the apartheid and was a friend of Mandela.
