Henry Boucha, a member of the 1972 Olympic team, remembers his interactions with Herb Brooks when they were teammates in 1970, describes how Brooks adapted parts of the Soviet program, and remembers the pride he felt watching the Miracle on Ice game. Boucha had a legendary career as a high schooler in Minnesota and started at the University of Minnesota. His NHL career was cut short by a severe eye injury.
