In a first-person account, Mike Eruzione describes the changes Herb Brooks made to the USA Olympic program. Eruzione, a former star at Boston University, was voted the captain of the team by his teammates. His wrist-shot goal in the third period put the USA ahead of the USSR in the Miracle on Ice hockey game that took place February 22, 1980. Eruzione is a successful motivational speaker and works at his alma mater.
