Wisconsin Badgers’ player Peter Konz announces that he is well enough to play in the 2012 Rose Bowl game on January 1. Konz had dislocated his ankle on November 12 in a game against Minnesota. The Badgers lost the Rose Bowl game to the Oregon Ducks, 45-38. Konz was then drafted by the NFL team, the Atlanta Falcons. The first Rose Bowl was in 1902, it started to be played annually in 2016, and 2014 marks the 100th game.
