President Barack Obama signed the the Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act into law on December 15, 2010 and shares his thoughts on the bill that limits the volume of TV commercials. The CALM Act went into effect on December 13, 2012 and broadcaster must comply with the FCC's volume standards or face penalties.
