<p>Leka’a is a Syrian refugee who explains in this first person account how the conflict in Syria is affecting women and children in a negative way. Leka’a explains how difficult life in the Za’atari refugee camp is, how much she misses her family and her home and how afraid she is for her unborn child. As she tries to stay strong, her only hope is thinking of her family and that one day she will see them again.</p>

On June 3–4 troops with assault rifles and tanks inflicted thousands of casualties on unarmed civilians to block their entrance into the square.</p>

<p>Alex Morgan, forward for the US Women&#39;s National team describes her experiences with the Seattle Sounders Women as well as her hopes for the 2012 Summer Olympics. In her first person account, Morgan believes that the World Cup has helped her to become a more effective and confident player. She and the rest of the Olympic squad are confident in their ability to work well together and have put in a lot of hard work in order to be successful. The 2012 Summer Olympics took place in London from July 25, 2012 to August 12, 2012 with over 10,000 athletes competing. The women played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff starting July 25th. London was the first city to host the modern Olympic Games three times, having previously done so in 1908 and in 1948. </p>
