Crowe had been nominated for Best Actor the year before for &#34;The Insider&#34; and would be nominated the next year for &#34;A Beautiful Mind.&#34; Churgin herself was nominated in the Film Editing category for the 1999 film &#34;The Cider House Rules.&#34;</p>
