George Lucas discusses the original concept for the story of Star Wars and explains how the different characters have evolved from how he first envisioned them. The first Star War film was originally released on May 25, 1977 and 5 more films followed with the last released on May 19, 2005. Disney purchased Star Wars in October 2012 and plans to release the 7th installment in the series by 2015.
