This video presents a letter from July 23, 1943 by Rose Valland, who worked at the Jeu de Paume Museum and played a pivotal role in the Monuments Men story. Valland recorded information on the artwork stolen by Nazis during World War II–information that helped to recover the artworks stolen from France.
