Dr. Alan Binder discusses the failures of the Mars Observer, as well as other NASA projects, like the Hubble Space Telescope and the Mars Climate Orbiter, that had technical disasters. Dr. Binder is the founder and Director of the Lunar Research Institute (LRI) and founder and CEO of Lunar Exploration Inc. (LEI). He is working to map the surface of the Moon for future commercial use.
