<p>Pacquiao, Filipino professional boxer, announces that he will be fighting his next match in remembrance of those lost in his home country to Typhoon Haiyan. This first person account shows Pacquiao’s focus in the midst of the tragedy.  Typhoon Haiyan, known as Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines, was an exceptionally powerful tropical cyclone that devastated portions of Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines, in early November 2013. It is the deadliest Philippine typhoon on record, killing at least 6,166 people in that country alone.</p>

<p>Saadyah Tzvi gives his experience as a hurricane Katrina victim. Without any way to contact his friends, Tzvi&#39;s first person account shows his struggle to believe his friends are still alive. After his mother was laid off from her teaching job and moved to Orlando, he moved back to New Orleans and lived in the shambles of the after math of the hurricane with his friend Cody for a short time. Saadyah finally decided to move to Orlando with his mother, but lost his friend Cody due to drugs and depression from all the destruction.  </p>
