Grace Irene Myers-Baker was an officer during World War II and she describes meeting Harry Truman’s wife, Bess, when Truman was vice-president. Myers-Baker served in the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES) division for the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Washington, D.C. Establishment and Administration of The Peace Corps in The Department of State

By virtue of the authority vested in my by the Mutual Security Act of 1954, 68 Stat. 832, as amended (22 U.S.C. 1750 et seq.), and as President of the United States, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Establishment of the Peace Corps. The Secretary of State shall establish an agency in the Department of State which shall be known as the Peace Corps. The Peace Corps shall be headed by a Director.

Section 2. Functions of the Peace Corps. (a) The Peace Corps shall be responsible for the training and service abroad of men and women of the United States in new programs of assistance to nations and areas of the world, and in conjunction with or in support of existing economic assistance programs of the United States and of the United Nations and other international organizations.

(b) The Secretary of State shall delegate, or cause to be delegated, to the Director of the Peace Corps such of the functions under the Mutual Security Act of 1954, as amended, vested in the President and delegated to the Secretary, or vested in the Secretary, as the Secretary shall deem necessary for the accomplishment of the purposes of the Peace Corps.

Section 3. Financing of the Peace Corps. The Secretary of State shall provide for the financing of the Peace Corps with funds available to the Secretary for the performance of functions under the Mutual Security Act of 1954, as amended.

Section 4. Relation to the Executive Order No. 10893. This order shall not be deemed to supersede or derogate from any provision of Executive Order No. 10893 of November 8, 1960, as amended, and any delegation made by or pursuant to this order shall, unless otherwise specifically provided therein, be deemed to be in addition to any legation made by or pursuant to that order.

In this video, Polemarchers of the first black fraternity ever made, Kappa Alpha Psi, speak about what it must have been like in 1911 when the founders created the fraternity as well as why the group was established. Kappa Alpha Psi was created at Indiana University in a time when many obstacles were put in the way of African Americans including racism, discrimination, hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, and many other issues.

Nancy Kerrigan claims that she hasn't lost faith in humanity and it could have been a lot worse as she gives an interview after being attacked at the US Figure Skating Championships in Detroit Michigan in 1994. Nancy Kerrigan is an American figure skater who has accomplished winning a silver medal and bronze medal in past Olympic games. She was assaulted with a police baton to the right knee by men hired by the ex husband of skating rival Tonya Harding. The tragedy became known as 'The Whack Heard Around the World.'

Nancy Kerrigan, along with her parents, husband, and coach, talks about the day she was attacked after the US Figure Skating Championships in 1994 and how it affected her life, family, and the figure skating sport in general. Nancy Kerrigan had won the bronze medal in the Winter Olympics by the time she was 24. In 1994, after being attacked, she made one of the best sports comebacks ever seen as she rehabbed and found a way to still skate in the 1994 Olympics, earning the silver medal in those games.

The Homebrew Computer Club was a group that started in Silicon Valley in 1975 and later led to high-profile technological entrepreneurs such as Steve Jobs and Apple Computers.

After suffering what was seemingly a career ending injury during the Elite 8 game of the 2013 NCAA College Basketball Championship, Kevin Ware is back on the court, giving a first person interview to ABC News. Ware played for The University of Louisville Cardinals and, after suffering the injury, his team went on to win the championship in the tournament that year.
